Welcome 👋

Today, we’re diving into:

  • Directionality update using our Risk-On Risk-Off (RORO) tool.

  • A brutally honest review of 2024—the wins, the losses, and the key learnings.

  • Insights from over 29 key on-chain, technical, and sentiment-based ‘selling the top’ indicators.

Let me start by saying this: being self-critical doesn’t mean I’ve had a bad year. Quite the opposite. 2024 has been fantastic.

My public eToro portfolio has returned ~90%, is annualising at 54%, and outperforming a HODL BTC and ETH strategy.

I want to copy trade you on eToro!

My personal portfolio performed even better, given its heavy (~90%) allocation to SOL and being further along the risk curve.

But these results don’t mean there isn’t room for improvement. By critically reviewing my trades and decisions, I’m preparing myself for this stage of the next bull run. If you’re serious about building wealth through crypto, you must treat your portfolio like a business. After all, in this space, you’re competing against sharks of the highest calibre. Take yourself seriously, or they’ll take your lunch money.

What’s This All About?
By the end of this review, you’ll see exactly what worked, what didn’t, and how I’m gearing up for the next bull run. Whether you’re crushing it or still figuring out your edge, there’s value here if you’re willing to do the work.

So, let’s get to it: the wins, the misses, and the insights from a year that’s taught me more than I could have imagined.

The Wins 👍🏼

Let’s start with what I did right. These are the moves I’ll carry forward into the next cycle because they’re clearly working.
